Why can’t bisexuals ever just call themselves fucking bisexuals? YOU’RE NOT A LESBIAN. YOU’RE ASHAMED YOU LIKE MEN.

Why can’t bisexuals ever just call themselves fucking bisexuals? YOU’RE NOT A LESBIAN. YOU’RE ASHAMED YOU LIKE MEN.

Stop making lesbians carry the consequences of your internalized biphobia.

Lesbianism is the absence of sexual attraction to men.

LESBIAN: A person whose sexual attraction excludes men. Lesbianism is not the decision to stop dating men, abstinence from men, hatred of men, or choosing women despite still being sexually attracted to men. It is the absence of sexual attraction to men. The body does not desire men. There is no attraction being resisted because the attraction is not there.

Not sleeping with men does not make someone a lesbian. Not wanting to date men does not make someone a lesbian. Being tired of men does not make someone a lesbian. A lesbian is not abstaining from attraction to men. She does not have the attraction to begin with.

Why can’t bisexuals ever just call themselves fucking bisexuals?

Like, lesbian is not a sense of, “I hate men so much that I’m not gonna be bisexual, and I’m gonna be a lesbian.”

That’s not what lesbian means.

Lesbian is a non-attraction to men.

Like, your pussy does not get wet.

Because you dated a woman for five years and have only been dating women, and then once in a blue moon you dated a dude and then went back to a woman does not make you a lesbian.

Like, if you can do that consensually, you are bisexual.

Why is that so hard for you to grasp?

Like, I feel like the internal biphobia is the issue with how people are respecting lesbians.

Because of people’s internalized biphobia, lesbians are being fucking erased.

Then the part that is annoying is that bisexuals make up more of the community in population than any other group, and definitely make up more of the population than lesbians.

So they have more of a fucking voice.

Like, they’re in places where lesbians can’t even get into because, honestly, masc lesbians, people see them as lesbians, and are biased.

Bisexuals’ understanding of societal roles makes them super easy to pass.

There are fucking more of them.

And now they fucking think they can speak for us.

You cannot.

It’s like when a Mom shuts her kid up to speak; you are not our Moms’. Just like how our moms dont know us, you bisexuals don’t have the lived experience to erase my voice for yours.

Like your fake disdain for men makes you be able to speak for us.

It gives Rachel Dolezal.

I’m talking about the mechanism.

Rachel Dolezal didn’t just identify herself as Black. She entered Black spaces, gained positions within Black institutions, and spoke from a position that depended on people believing she had a lived experience she did not have.

That’s the part.

Because now you’re not just calling yourself something.

You’re getting the microphone.

You’re being published.

You’re getting the awards.

You’re being asked what lesbians think, what lesbians want, what lesbian sexuality looks like.

When you are still men-centered, like you do not have a fucking clue.

Meanwhile, an actual lesbian says, “No. That’s not my experience,” and somehow we’re the problem.

That’s when your personal identity claim stops being only about you.

You have taken the authority that came with the word and started using it to redefine the people the word was describing before you got there.

That’s the mechanism I’m comparing.

And me telling you that shouldn’t be an insult.

Instead of slowing down and asking why being bisexual feels like a bad thing, you just call yourself a lesbian or sometimes straight.

But you didn’t uncover the shame. Never fucking uncover the shame.

You didn’t question why bisexual felt like an insult to you. You just switched the word.

Internalized biphobia eventually produces lesbophobia.

Like, recently I read an article that did exactly that.

It was disgusting.

By some New York Times writer.

It’s like, of course she gets a space. It’s always the outside stereotype of the group that gets the job.

Then I look at her accolades, and this bitch has queer awards.

Big fucking jokes. I don’t know who these awards are for, but lesbians and gay are never invited.

She’s getting queer awards and is openly being lesbophobic, but I guess to the world, lesbophobia is not homophobia.

It’s no different from when scientists were winning awards for pseudoscience against African-Americans.

This bitch had to push down lesbians, take up our space to push herself up.

I guess she ain’t as creative as she thinks.

Instead of giving a lesbian a fucking award, they give it to a queer person that’s fucking being lesbophobic.

(They have now removed the post)

The article starts with a large picture of the author, and from my first glance, I did not get lesbian.

No, she did not give culturally lesbian. And I can say that.

Just like I can say that person culturally doesn’t look like a New Yorker.

I got; women, humble, quiet, confidence ain’t on display, dont want to take up too much space. Not seen, not heard, follows the rules. Don’t show too much, respectful but I got titties. She had on respectable women’s clothing. Shit a mom would wear to a kids soccer game.

She didn't give anything to attract me, as a lesbian. When peeps do this, I think their focus is to attract to another gender other than my own.

Me looking at her, I would just say, “That’s a straight woman living her best life.”

I say all this because the title matched the presentation.

The only part foreign was her use of the word lesbian to sound exotic.

I really just can’t believe bisexual women would go so far as to call themselves another sexuality because of how embarrassed they are by their attraction to men. Just know I think you are embarrassing too.

I read her article: “Can a lesbian with a fierce manicure catch a D*CK from time to time?”

What?

What the fuck is this?

The article came up on my Instagram, and I had lost it. I took a good 5 minutes to find it because I was fumming.

Then the second one is, “LARPing as a girl in pursuit of male attention, one manicure at a time.”

I didn’t even know what LARPing was, but I felt the desperation I know so well. Straight women, bisexual women are obsessed with men. That ain’t fucking new; they are trying to package it new.

Now it’s a Larp. I learned what the word means.

But it ain’t.

Same old dodo repackaged.

Disgusting.

Pursuit of male attention?

Pursuit of patriarchy?

Men are not part of lesbian sexual desire.

It’s yours because you are bisexual.

Look at this bitch saying we are the opposite because she's embarrassed she likes men. Her calling herself a lesbian won’t stop the embarrassing-ness of being attracted to men.

I hope anyone reading this hears this.

It is embarrassing you date men, and you not doing it doesn't stop your embarrassing attraction to them.

And I bet she didn’t tell the lesbians about her endeavor, because then that’s her private business.

I feel this bitch is trying to confuse young lesbians who are actually lesbians?

And are you also trying to confuse the outside world about what lesbians are?

She just wants more lesbians to be harmed, like we aren’t getting raped enough.

It’s literally lesbophobia.

It’s dangerous.

It’s disgusting.

And this is the person that’s being platformed.

What really irked me about that article was that homegirl thought that becoming a lesbian mirrored how women dress when they don’t want to be harassed by men: by becoming invisible.

So that’s still men-centered.

Lesbians dress with self-love and self-pride. It has nothing to fucking do with men.

Lesbians feel pretty and feminine and masculine.

What also fucking pissed me off is that when she came out as a lesbian, she decided to look bummy.

Bummy.

That’s what she fucking said, and she felt bummy.

She said it.

So she looked and felt bummy because, you know, there is homeless New York fashion. Some people be looking homeless, but that’s the style, and they kind of look good doing it.

That’s not what she was saying.

Finally, she decided to doll herself up.

This is the part that really fucking pissed me off and blew my mind.

It wasn’t like she put on a performance and went outside. That LARP she claimed.

She dolled herself up and felt good.

Felt beautiful.

She didn’t say that she felt beautiful dressing like a fucking bum around the lesbians.

When she felt most beautiful, guess what she did?

Went to go fuck a man.

Disgusting.

Then she took off her nails and claimed she did some performance and went back to our group.

So us, lesbians, we are supposed to take the worst side of her.

That’s what you think of us?

That doesn’t sound like a lesbian to me.

That sounds like someone taking a break.

The coward turned their comments off

All the comments were like, “What the fuck is wrong with you?”

I wasn’t able to comment because they turned their comments off.

I had to say something.

So I said, let me write to them privately.

I wrote to them last night.

Yeah, I was pissed.

I sent a message.

Tell me why today I see that I got a like on my semi-private comment, but

The whole board is deleted.

So, as a lesbian, they are talking incorrectly about lesbians when I try to clean it up. I get silenced and erased.

When I speak up, they shut me up.

This is a pattern now.

So who the fuck is this content for? Rapists?

I do not have an understanding, and I want answers.

This is what happens when I go to lesbian parties.

This is what happens when, like, any place I say, “Oh, I’m a lesbian. This is what we do. This is what Noele does as a lesbian.”

Am I ever fucking respected?

I’m always dismissed.

I’m always called a problem.

I’m never being respected.

But then a fucking non-lesbian can fucking say they’re a lesbian, and that person is celebrated.

Because the shit they are doing is male-centered, palatable, and fucking wrong.

The post is still in the middle of the page, biggest.

It’s disgusting.

This is where it becomes dangerous.

Because if you are attracted to men and consensually fuck men, but call yourself a lesbian, what are you teaching everyone else that lesbian means?

Now lesbian doesn’t mean non-attraction to men.

It means maybe.

It means sometimes.

It means she doesn’t fuck men right now.

It means she prefers women.

It means she might fuck a man once in a blue.

That’s not what I’m saying when I tell you I’m a lesbian.

I’m saying the attraction is not there.

I needed that distinction when I was younger.

I had no attraction to men, and people kept telling me that I did.

You have attraction.

You have attraction.

You have attraction.

I kept saying I didn’t.

I didn’t know what they were talking about.

The things they told me I was supposed to like about men grossed me out.

But instead of my non-attraction being respected as non-attraction, I was taught that maybe I just needed to try it.

That’s why this isn’t just a fucking word game to me.

If the world learns that lesbians consensually want and fuck men, what happens when an actual lesbian says no?

Now someone can say, “Well, lesbians fuck men sometimes.”

“Maybe you haven’t met the right one.”

“Maybe you just need to try it.”

“I know a lesbian who likes dick.”

Do you see the fucking problem?

You have taken something that was supposed to communicate a boundary of my sexuality and turned it into something negotiable.

My non-attraction becomes something that needs to be tested instead of something that needs to be respected.

That’s where coercion enters.

That’s why I keep talking about rape.

Because I needed the word lesbian to tell me something when I was younger:

My non-attraction is real. My non-attraction is okay. I do not have to try men to prove it. I can take my time.

A lesbian being raped by a man does not make her bisexual.

A lesbian being coerced into sex with a man does not prove that some attraction was secretly there.

Her body being violated does not rewrite her sexuality.

That’s why I need lesbian to remain crystal fucking clear.

Internalized biphobia eventually produces lesbophobia
